COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The Colorado Springs Police Department is searching for the person who stabbed a man Sunday night near Sierra Madre and Rio Grande Street.
According to police, the male victim exchanged heated words with a man urinating in public. The man urinating pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim several times.
The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but he is expected to survive, police said.
The suspect is described as a light skinned African American male with short curly black hair, 5’9 to 5’11, and 160-170 pounds. His age is unknown.
