The Department of Human Services shut down 2 more facilities run by a daycare operator in Colorado Springs.
The agency stated that it shut down unlicensed daycare facilities run by Carla Faith on November 8th and then additional facilities on November 14th.
That number doesn’t include a licensed daycare and licensed preschool that were both shut down by DHS last week.
Faith came to the attention of investigators after complaints were received that too many children were being cared for at her licensed daycare on Williamette Avenue.
Police reported finding more than 24 children in a basement hidden behind a false wall on their initial check last week.
