Renovation Work Continues on Bancroft Park in Old Colorado City

After multiple weather delays, renovation work is now back on track at Bancroft Park, the centerpiece of historic Old Colorado City.

Work started in September of 2019 to make improvements for park-goers with disabilities as well as other upgrades to the pavilion.

Project engineers say they expect the bulk of the work to wrap up by the end of March with finishing touches made sometime in April or May.

The goal is to have the park ready in time for Old Colorado City’s biggest annual event, Territory Days.
