COLORADO SPRINGS – Mop-up continues on a 100-year old building after a fire broke out on the second floor of a three-story building at 25th and Colorado Ave at about midnight Friday morning. The building is a combination of businesses and apartments.
Reportedly, everyone inside the building got out safely. Because of the age of the structure, multiple alarms were called to help to make sure the flames were extinguished in spaces between the walls.
Fire investigators are currently on the scene working to find out what sparked the fire.
