Searchers recovered a body Wednesday morning from a pond at Red Rock Canyon Open Space. Witnesses told firefighters a man went into the pond Tuesday evening and never came to the surface. Crews using sonar, and a boat searched Tuesday night, but were hampered by poor visibility. They returned Wednesday morning and discovered a body in the water just before noon. It is not known how the man died.
