Utility prices in Colorado Springs could decrease soon if the Springs City Council approves a decrease in rates at a meeting later today. CSU officials say that this year natural gas prices reached the highest levels nationally in nearly a decade — but are starting to go down. The CSU Board previously voted to lower utility prices due to the mild winter. If the council approves a rate decrease, it will go into effect next month with many customers seeing changes in prices in March.
