Several U.S. Air Force Academy senior cadets may not be able to graduate next week, after refusing to get a COVID vaccine. Congressman Doug Lamborn is asking the Academy’s superintendent to reconsider. In a statement, Lamborn expressed disappointment in the Academy’s plans to deny the cadets the opportunity to graduate and serve. He says the cadets have tightly-held religious beliefs that are keeping them from getting vaccinated. The senior cadets have until August 1 to become vaccinated, and if they do not, they could be required to pay back their tuition.
