Springs Police say one person is in the hospital this morning, after gunfire broke out in Memorial Park. The victim is expected to recover. Officers say the shots were near the skatepark inside the park. A witness reported shots about 8:15 last evening. Police say a friend of the victim took them to a local hospital before any officers arrived t the park. No arrests have been made yet in the case, and authorities believe the shooter and victim knew each other.
