Demolition and road work surrounding a bridge on I-25 at South Academy has been postponed, due to the recent snowfall. The Colorado Department of Transportation moving the temporary closure to this weekend, starting Saturday morning and continuing through Sunday (Jan. 21-22). Detours will be in place. CDOT says southbound and northbound traffic on the interstate will use on-and-off ramps to get around the bridge work. Eastern traffic on South Academy will be sent south. Westbound traffic will be diverted north to another exit. More information is available at the CDOT website.
