COLORADO SPRINGS-Authorities are searching for a driver they say hit a teenage motorcyclist and then fled the scene. It happened Wednesday night. According to police, the 18-year-old rider was speeding on Constitution and lost control of their motorcycle while trying to turn onto Waynoka. The teen was thrown into the path of an oncoming car. Witnesses told investigators the car struck the rider, paused for a moment, then took off. The teen was transferred to the hospital, where they died. no suspect vehicle description is available. The victim’s identity is not released at this time.
