Jefferson County-Authorities are searching for suspects who threw a rock at a car that struck and killed an Arvada woman. It happened just before 11 pm Wednesday in Jefferson County.  Twenty-year-old Alexa Bartell was headed north on Indiana Street, northwest of Denver when the suspects threw a large rock at the vehicle. Bartell was talking to a friend on the phone when she was struck. The friend tracked Bartell’s phone and found her dead at the scene. Deputies believe it may be a part of a series of overnight crimes involving a light-colored pickup truck.
