Colorado College President Puts in Her Resignation

THE PRESIDENT OF COLORADO COLLEGE, L. SONG RICHARDSON ANNOUNCED HER RESIGNATION YESTERDAY. RICHARDSON TOOK OVER AS THE 14TH PRESIDENT IN 2021. SHE WILL BE RETURNING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA IRVINE LAW AND SCHOOL WHERE SHE SAYS SHE CAN “FUFILL A MORAL OBLIGATION”. THE EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OF STAFF, MANYA WHITAKER HAS BEEN NAMED INTERIM PRESIDENT FOR THE NEXT TWO YEARS. HER TERM WILL BEGIN ON JULY 1ST.
