Colorado Springs Utilities Proposes Lower Rate For Customers

WEDNESDAY, COLORADO SPRINGS UTILITES PROPOSED A RATE CHANGE FOR CUSTOMERS AT A BOARD MEETING. IF APPROVED CUSTOMERS WOULD SEE A LOWER BILL DUE TO A RATE DECREASE FOR ELECTRIC USAGE AND NATURAL GAS. THE  NEW RATE ADJUSTMENT WOULD LOWER THE AVERAGE BILL BY ABOUT $26 A MONTH. THE NEXT STEP WOULD BE FOR CITY COUNCIL TO VOTE ON IT LATER THIS MONTH. IF THEY APPROVE IT THE CHANGES WOULD BEGIN APRIL 1ST.
