COLORADO SPRINGS MAYOR YEMI MOBOLADE HAS BEEN NAMED IN A LAWSUIT CHARGING HIM AND A BUSINESS PARTNER OF NOT PAYING SHAMROCK FOODS SOME 100 THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR GOODS ORDERED FOR RESTAURANTS OWNED BY MOBOLADE AND HIS BUSINESS PARTNER RUSSELL WARE. THE TWO OWNED AND OPERATED WILD GOOSE MEETING HOUSE AND GOOD NEIGHGBORS MEETING HOUSE. SHAMROCK FOODS SAID THEY ARE SUING FOR NON-PAYMENT OF GOODS DELIVERED AS PART OF AN AGREEMENT IN 2018. WARE IS IN JAIL FOR STEALING MONEY FROM ANOTHER RESTAURANT. MOBOLADE SAID IN COURT PAPERS QUOTE “CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES WAS CAUSED BY THE ACTIONS OR INACTIONS OF THIRD PARTIES OVERWHOM MOBOLADE HAD NO CONTROL OR HAS NO CONTROL.” MOBOLADE WAS FORCED TO GIVE UP HIS OWNERSHIP IN THE RESTAURANTS ONCE HE BECAME COLORADO SPRINGS MAYOR.
