A former special education teacher for Academy District 20 in Colorado Springs, has been arrested. Last week 33-year-old Theodore Mendoza was taken into custody on an arrest warrant for charges related to possession and distribution of child sex abuse material. Investigators say a search warrant revealed Mendoza sent child sex material through his snap chat platform. He is currently being held on a 150,000 bond and is facing multiple colony counts for sexual exploitation of a child.
