A judge has ruled the family of the Colorado Springs man accused of firebombing peaceful demonstrators in Boulder last June, should be released from a federal ice facility. Mohamed Soliman’s family, who lived in Colorado Springs, was taken into custody after Soliman was arrested for the attack last June. They have been held in an ice facility in Texas for the last 10 months. The judge said he found no evidence the El Gamel family had knowledge of what Soliman was planning on that day in boulder. The judge said the family should be allowed to freely pursue their asylum application instead of being held by ice. Another meeting on the matter will be held Thursday.
