A person was taken into custody early Wednesday morning after allegedly starting a fire in Colorado Springs. Officials say an officer noticed a large amount of smoke near Palmer Park on north Academy and Maizeland. Crews used a drone to find the exact location of the fire. They found two which burnt less than 1/4th of an acre. A suspicious person was standing on a rock formation near the area. A woman, Cadence Malkin, was contacted by law enforcement where she admitted to starting the fires.
