A group identified as Palmer Land Conservancy has announced the acquisition of 674 acres of property that could become Woodland Parks largest public outdoor recreation area. It’s called Pinestone Ranch and the conservancy wants to turn it into public open space with trails for residents to enjoy. At some point the conservancy will turn the land over to someone or a group to manage. The purchase price of Pinestone Ranch was not released.
