Colorado Springs Police arrested a man after an attempted car- jacking Monday afternoon. A man tried to steal a victim’s car in the 500 block of North Academy. Police say the victim managed to stop the theft of his car but was assaulted in the process. A detective at the Real Time Crime Center was able to get a drone airborne and tracked the suspect. Police also had help from a witness in identifying the suspect. Authorities took Ricky Rhodes into custody. He is facing several charges.
