Next week Colorado Springs city and business leaders will travel to Huntsville Alabama to meet with counterparts to discuss ideas of working together on defense industry opportunities and to explore other areas of mutual interest. President Trump announced earlier this year Space Command, based in Colorado Springs, will be moving to Huntsville Alabama. Mayor Yemi Mobolade believes both communities can benefit from the collaboration. 5th Congressional District Congressman Jeff Crank says while the springs will lose some jobs others will be coming to Colorado Springs connected to other defense military operations.
