ORIGINAL: Some details of this story are unclear at the time of posting. A serious crash has been reported — involving a pedestrian — near Doherty High School. Springs Police say that victim may be a student. No word yet on their condition. The crash was reported about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, a School District 11 spokesman confirmed that the school is going to be closed for the remainder of the day. Parents can pick up students in the east parking lot of the Doherty High campus. Around 8 this morning, officers were asking drivers to avoid the area of Austin Bluffs and Barnes.
