The Denver Post is reporting the owner of property at I-25 and County Line Road, who recently used a boundary adjustment to increase the size of the land parcel, has sold it to a group named Buc-ee’s EPCO LLC for 10 million dollars. This is the same site Buc-ee’s was hoping to build a travel center. The post is reporting land owned by Interstate 25 Properties LTD and Monument Ridge West LLC were merged into 1 parcel of land large enough for a Buc-ee’s Travel Center. The Post report also says two well permits near Beacon Light Road and County Line Road were approved by the state last month for Monument Ridge West. A majority of Palmer Lake residents were against building the travel center.
