Colorado Springs Police along with other agencies in the Pikes Peak region, held a surge enforcement campaign April 5th through the 11th.Tthe target was drivers who had expired registrations. Springs police would wind up writing 371 tickets. They focused on expired and unregistered vehicles around the area. Springs police worked in coordination with the El Paso County Sheriffs office, the Colorado State Patrol, and police departments in Monument, Fountain, and Palmer Lake.
