The Board of Directors with the Front Range Passenger Rail District have announced they will vote Friday whether to ask Colorado voters for full funding of the Colorado Connector Project. It’s a plan that’s been talked about for years, to build a passenger railway link from Fort Collins to Trinidad with 2 stops in Colorado Springs. The district has enough money to start the project from Denver to Fort Collins. They will vote Friday to ask Colorado voters in November to agree to a tax to fund the remainder of the project from Denver to Trinidad.
