COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Shuttle service began Friday for tourists trying to get to the top of Pikes Peak.
Ongoing construction of a new visitors center at the summit means very few parking spaces.
Shuttles will now transport people to the top.
The two shuttles lots are 7 miles from the start of the Pikes Peak highway and at 16 mile.
Shuttles are expected to run every 5 to 10 minutes.
