The Colorado Springs Fire Department has lifted the pre-evacuation notice for an area around Tenderfoot Hill Road in southwest Colorado Springs. A fire was discovered last night in a building in that area. The business in that building is Microchip. Firefighters say the fire was in an area near chemical gas. While the fire is out it remains a dangerous situation. Springs fire is waiting for a special unit to arrive to deal with the incident. A springs fire hazmat team will remain on the scene to assist.
