Tuesday night during a Falcon School District 49 board meeting the Board of Education reversed a policy decision passed 6 months ago. That decision was on policy “JBAA.” When passed last year it limited boys and girls locker room’s restrooms and showers to a student’s biological sex rather than how they want to be identified. But last night a 3-2 vote repealed that decision. That move could put district 49 in jeopardy of losing federal education funding. The Trump Administration has declared school districts around the country must only allow biological boys to play boys sports and girls to play girls sports and to limit access to restrooms and locker rooms based on their biological sex.
