Friday marks 25 years since the United States was attacked by terrorists in New York and Washington DC. 343 firefighters were among the more than 2900 men and women who died on 9-11. Tomorrow close to 200 first responders and military personnel will climb the Manitou Incline in a salute to the firefighters who went into the World Trade Center buildings trying to rescue people. Firefighters climbing the incline will be fully equipped with their gear, just like the New York firefighters. The climb begins Friday morning at 6:46, the exact time when the first plane hit the World Trade Center.
