The latest now in the Debra Nichols case. She is the Colorado Springs woman who was convicted in 2008 of setting a fire in her home killing her 3 children. Earlier this year a judge threw out the conviction saying the prosecution withheld evidence. She was in court Wednesday for a bond hearing. 2 fire investigators testified yesterday. That bond hearing will continue in several weeks. The 4th Judicial District Attorney’s office is appealing the decision to overturn her conviction.
