A traffic stop late Monday night by Colorado Springs police resulted in one arrest and the recovery of drugs and stolen guns. Police pulled a car over at South Academy and Early Sun Drive. Police say the driver did not comply with commands to get out of the vehicle. He would eventually open the door but took off running. It took several officers to run him down and arrest him. The suspect was identified as Victor Carter. He had a gun in his waist band. A second gun was found in the car along with a large amount of narcotics.
